I got bored and looking over the site we have some somewhat unique powers and I was just curious as to why some of you chose the powers that you did.
Personally I chose the armor since I am the kind of person that I want to help people and protect them from harm. Thus having armor that I can coat my body in and stand in the way or protect them from anything that may hurt them seemed like a good plan.

Hmmm... Well, I don't think Levi is really me at all. But I would say, prolly because I think I see the world differently then a lot of people. I can always find a different way to look at things, and it is enjoyable to force people to see things my way. Even if it is using this unique way of seeing things to force others to do my bidding, it's still fun to make people see what I see.

Joshua? He's a version of myself if i had no inhibitions and did as i willed it...says what's on his mind and does what he wants without worrying about the consequences...i chose telekinesis/telepathy as they felt like the freest form of powers i could have chosen from, the ability to enter someone elses mind from afar or move an object without touching it...also Jean Grey was my favorite character from the X-Men comics and animated show and Joshua is basically a male Jean Grey lol

Icarus; definatley because it fits his personality perfectly. Its just so his character to pop in the middle of a crowded airport, drop a bunch of firecrackers and pop out just to let the chaos ensue ^_^
I've also always loved teleportation. Its by far my favorite power, with super speed comming in second and any kind of light control (like the Green Lantern for example)

Roxanne Beauchamp[/size] ---- I don't know if any of you watch the hit series "Hereos" but i'm freaking addicted. Roxanne's power is based a little bit off of Issac Mendez. If you watch the show you might remember him from the first season. He had the ability to go into a trance like state and paint the future. That is about where the similarities between the two end. Roxanne does not go into some psychedelic trance to see her visions, she just experiences them in a rather vivid manner. I love Painting, I don't think i'm very good, but I love it anyway. As mentioned in Roxanne's Profile, I wanted to incorporate that aspect of myself into her character. At first I was going to go with a Death Note kinda of thing, where she could paint someone dying...but decided against it for what i think are rather obvious reasons. It's over powered. So I decided to go with this idea instead and I imagine we are all much better off for it. If any of you have seen the movie "Chocolat" then you would realize that Roxanne's character also bears a strange resemblance to Vianne, the lead female of the movie. The idea of Roxanne owning the chocolate shop and guessing people's favorite variety of sweet treats came from that movie. And so that is where the inspiration for Roxanne's power came from. Some of it was stolen from previous ideas even though I twisted the idea to make it fit.
