Current Plots
(Instead of one big monthly plot, I thought it would be better to have a few minor plots, so that people wouldn't have to have the same kind of rp's. I'm thinking 3 a month, one that is more adventurous, one that is more comic, and one mystery, on average. And one of those will contain an aspect that ties it to a bigger plot underneath, which will connect to the next month. and it won't be in the same category each time.)
Feel free to use any of these plots in your threads, just make sure to leave a post on the page claiming it so that others don't make a duplicate. These are optional; so you don't have to play with them. But the events described will still be considered cannon.
Subplot 1: A business called Mercherson's Exotic Imports has placed an ad in local papers requesting extra security personel to work on a train heading from Chattanooga, Tennesee to San Diego, California. It is rumored that the train is carrying very rare cargo, and that crooks from all around are expected to take a shot at stealing it. Some have already tried. Security will be paid $100 for their duties, plus room and board on the train.
Subplot 2: President Roosevelt, begrudgingly following his advisors suggestion, is on a "press the flesh" tour, stopping in for lunch at a small restrant in New England. The New president attracts quite a crowd, whom he tries to deal with as he has his lunch. This is a chance for commoners to meet the old lion himself!
Subplot 3: A lynching has occured in North Carolina, and is drawing attention because the victim was a teenage girl, the daughter of a wealthy factory owner. she had no known enemies, and police are stumped. The only peice of evidence found at the scene was a letter, written in shorthand, that said "You can't hide anymore" People are nervous, and no one seems to know anything.
