November 2nd
Levi walked through the streets casually. He was just a normal young man to most people. Little did they know he was the leader of those they feared. The one they wanted to have killed. He smirked at the thought of it. Killing him. It was outrageous. The fact that these morons were to dense to even realize who he was. It was really quite pathetic in his eyes.
Levi turned a corner into a large neighborhood. Most the houses stood three stories tall. The neighborhood was obviously one of higher class. Rich people. It was the one Levi grew up in.
He'd been away from home for a few months now. His parents were under the impression that he was in college. He continued to lie to them for no reason. Mostly for the joy in having power over his parents. He could tell them anything, and make the believe him. He couldn't kill the two people that raised him, but still, he knew where they stood on this gifted mutant thing. They didn't like them, and in turn, didn't like Levi or their two other children. Little did the Volgier's know that three of their 7 kids were gifted.
Levi walked up the porch to his house, and opened the door, announcing loudly, "Mom, Dad, I am home." He knew the two were not expecting him, but they always loved when he visited. They'd question him about the University he was going to, and how his classes were going. Today though, Levi was just picking something up from his room.
He walked to his room, and saw his younger sister. "Erin, where is mom and dad?"
"Out." The girl sounded off the one word answer and walked past her brother, iPod blasting music in her ears. Levi shrugged and walked towards his room. It would make his trip here much quicker. He picked up a box from the shelf in his closet, and made for the door, not seeing his sister again.
He walked back down the street, heading for the main road he's come in on. He needed to head back to Alcatraz, but hadn't really thought out how. He'd had someone teleport him here, and now he was going to have to take a trip back. He continued down the street, making his way towards the airport, holding his thumb out to hitch for a ride.

Today had been a rousing success.
The half-dozen Users that had escaped the Ministry's notice for several months were now in Ministry custody, and were well on their way to rehabilitation. They would bother this area no more. Hassaway was positively giddy as he sat in the back of his armored limo, sipping a glass of brandy and feeling on top of the world.
He had offered drinks to his security detail, three armed men who had arrayed themselves around the car's interior, but they had refused out of professional obligation. Hassaway was proud of their conduct, however, so he wasn't offended.
His good mood no doubt heavily contributed to the urge of generosity he felt as he spotted the young man along the side of the road, his thumb out in a sign he needed a ride to wherever he was going. Hassaway signaled the driver to pull up alongside the boy, and his guard captain seemed perturbed.
"I don't think that this is a good idea, sir."
Hassaway's smile only warmed even more. "Come now, Mr. Carradin. I don't think this boy will give us any trouble. Besides, I'm sure you fellows will be able to handle anything that should go amiss just fine, yes?"
The limo slowed, and Hassaway's window rolled down. Smiling invitingly, Hassaway looked up at their potential guest and grinned at what he saw.
Levi Storms.
THIS was an unexpected surprise. Perhaps they could make it 7 Users in custody today. And if not, well, Levi being dead was hardly a bad thing.
Smiling his best disarming smile, Hassaway spoke as the car pulled up alongside the young college student. "Hello, my friend! Going somewhere? There's plenty of room and good drinks if you'd like to go in style."
