~Personal~[/center]
Name: Liam Alexander MacArthur V
Alias(s): Marcus Aurelius; Reynard de Saint-Pierre; Liam Alexander MacArthur I-IV
Age: 2245
Birthday: April 26th, 236 BC
Gender: Male
Orientation: Straight
Ethnicity: Roman
Blood Type: A+
Relationship Status: Single
Personality: Liam is completely self absorbed to the point that nothing on this Earth does not concern him, with his age he feels that he's owed the right that all defer to himself. He's narcissistic by nature and only engages in activities which he fervently believes will make him: famous, powerful, influential or superior in some undefined future time. As a bitter narcissit he holds himself answerable to History, God, Eternity, Future Generations, the Church, Country and the Nation; his notions of grandeur are dependent on the judgment of an ambiguous timeframe. Liam "knows" that he can do anything he chooses to do and excel in it, all he does depends only on his volition as to his warped mind there is no other determinant. Which explains his rage when confronted with disagreement or opposition - not only because of the gall of his, evidently inferior, adversaries. But because it threatens his world view and feeling of omnipotence.
~Physical~
Build: Liam is taller than the average height of most men standing at 6'3", his slender frame giving the illusion of weakness but hiding a raw power of strength.
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 180lbs
Physical Description: Liam's legs make up the most of his height giving him a long stride in his walk, his eyes a shade off of emerald green and balding salt+pepper coloured hair. No scars or marks adourn his body leaving it perfectly flawless as his power dictates, his skin is lightly tanned.
~Clothing~
Everyday wear: Liam dresses to the nines even when it doesn't call for such, his standard blue/grey three piece suit is his trademark look. The look comes with an overcoat, vest, undershirt, tie and slacks all matching in colour and cut; the only accessories to his outift would be a diamond clasp just below his neckline on the tie. He is never without his cane that is distinguished by the lion head at the top most piece. His shoes match the colour of his suit but made of quality leather.
Dress wear: To Liam there is only one thing to wear when 'dressing up' and that would be a tuxedo with white tie, the black coat and slacks offset by white dress shirt and tie. His shoes are black in this case, Liam also keeps his cane with him in this situation.
Formal wear: He hasn't worn formal in some 2000 years, to Liam the definition of this type of clothing would be something a Roman Senator would wear. White clothe draped over much of his body to the floor and a sizeably large portion around his shoulders hanging to waist level across his back. The trim of deepest onyx with gold clasps holding the pieces together, all in all he would have no reason to dawn the outfit unless for ceremonial purposes.

~Powers~
Powers: Power Absorption - Unlike Rogue from the X-Men comic books, his powers draw upon the life force of an individual solely and takes nothing away from that person's super power if any. Like Rogue though, any point upon his body can be considered a 'port' for which the person's energy can be drawn into including hair and nails. Liam calls this power "A Touch of Death" using all the dramatics associated with something as corny sounding as that, it's straight to the point with no real quirks to it's limits. Mr. MacArthur stores the absorbed energy within cell pockets in his body for later use as they might not have to be needed at that point in time, if his injuries are severe enough then he would use it right then or release what was stored previously.
Immortality - Not as straight cut as it may sound. Unlike the Gods of ancient times, Liam can be killed with a well placed attack to sever his head from the rest of his body and only that. His body may be injured as inhumanly possible as it can get with the exception to beheading mentioned above as the damage dealt to the his central nervous system would be considered too extreme and intricate to heal. As with his power to absorb the life force of an individual, that energy stored within his body will also allow him to regulate the way his body ages in the sense that he can grow older or younger at his whim. This aspect of his powers is rarely used and only done so to keep up the pretense that he is indeed aging.
Necromancy - The ability to raise the dead and control them at whatever state of decomposition the body has reached, it gives him the power to create an army of thousands all under his rule.
State of Control: The fact that Liam has lived on this planet for close to two millenia means he has had the ability to attain more knowledge than anyone he could meet. This implies that with his age and chance to use the knowledge gathered, he has a better understanding and grasp of his powers to the extent that he is a master of their abilities. The man knows the limits to his powers and strength, in a battle he would be able to realize what he has left to fight with and how long exactly he has before he has to run away. This edge is what makes him a deadly opponent and few have gotten away from his clutches.
Rules Of Your Power: As Liam has three abilities to his name i will explain them seperately...
Power Absorption - He can not absorb a person's life force in one fail swoop, it does take a few minutes where the person feels a drawing sensation at the pit of their stomach outwards. The larger a person's life force or if said person is pretty strong then it would take a bit longer in order to extract it all, once taken he can store it within his body for an indefinite amount of time. Liam has held the energy of countless thousands within his body so there is no defined limit to how many people he is able to absorb.
Immortality - This has been explained some what as the main rule to this power is that he can only be killed with a well placed attack to sever his head form the rest of his body, Liam can withstand numerous attacks to his body as long as he has power to expend in order to heal himself, some Immortals throughout time like Vandal Savage have done otherwise in order to heal themselves...like consuming the blood of their victims. So, he is not truly immortal in the sense of never dying; just that to kill him would take skill beyond measure and the perfect opportunity to make sure he used up all his energy and not run away.
Necromancy - Liam's ability to control the dead is pretty straight forward with little rules to it's strength, his power over the deceased encompasses any state of decomposition short of dust. This includes all forms up to the state in which tendons and ligaments no longer hold muscles to bones and bone to bones respectively. Given his age and complete mastery over this and the other powers, for Necromancy he is ultimately able to control more than just one body and possibly hundreds or thousands.
Reason You Chose Your Power: He needed to have lived a very long time and immortality best explained why Liam has lived for so long, with his immortal state there needed to be a concrete reason to just how he was able to keep up the charade of aging and growing younger and so his ability to absorb the life force from a living thing comes into play. The necromancy thing is just icing, Liam needed an offensive type ability and controling the dead fits with his evil persona.

History:
Pax Romana - The Roman Empire (Marcus Aurelius, 236-183BC):
It started with the worst blizzard since anyone could remember, the night grew chill and deeper into the darkness that surrounded the lands. His mother born into the aristocratic circle was welcoming her first child along with the pains of labor, his father of noble blood stood outside the birthing circle in an adjacent room awaiting the crys of his firstborn son. Deep down he knew the gods would bless him with an heir and with the sounds of his childs first breaths in this world he knew his hopes had come true. Marcus was born during a great period of peace in the empire on April 26th, 121 A.D., his first memories were of sworldplay with his father within their courtyard as he filled his 3 year old head with thoughts of Legionaires and the battles of Zama and Carthage. It wouldn't be until he was 10 that Marcus would develop his powers all at once, the trigger being an attack by a wolf on a 'camping trip' with his father in the Roman wilderness. His ability to absorb something's life force along with the adrenaline rush saved him from certain death, the fear of dying rushed the absorption rate killing the wolf instantly. Marcus would keep his abilities secret and master them over the coming years.
As the years went on and he approached adulthood at 16, his military prowess had been honed to the point that rivaled any man entering the Roman Army at the time and for years to come. At an early age, Marcus joined the Roman struggle against Carthage in the Second Punic War. The young man survived the disastrous battles at Ticinus, Trebia and Cannae where later he would go on to save his father's life when he was 18 at the Battle of Ticinus. Despite these defeats, he would dedicate his life and focus on securing Roman victory. Upon hearing that the noble families and other politicians were at the point of surrender, Marcus gathered with his followers and stormed into the meeting, where at sword-point he forced all present to swear that they would continue in faithful service to Rome.
Marcus would meet his greatest enemy in Hannibal, the Carthaginian General who would amass an army of eighty war elephants, 58,000 infantry and 6,000 calvary against Marcus' 34,000 and 8,700. The two generals met on a plain between Carthage and Utica on October 19, 202 BC, at the Battle of Zama. The final struggle was bitter, and only won when the allied calvary rallied to charge the rear of Hannibal's army. Returning to Rome as a hero, Marcus turned down the offer of Emperor in order to put his life's plan into effect and ultimately ensure that when implemented there would be no unforseen problems. Drifting away into seclusion at the age of 50, his plan called for no one to be with him at the time of his 'death' and when anyone came to check the burned out wreckage of his home they would find a charred corpse in his place. It would be the way he did things as years bled into decades and into centuries, each time he would move on to reinvent himself and repeat the cycle all over again. Marcus had known from the start that there would be a tipping point when he would feel the need to settle down and create his empire, but he hadn't expected it to come with a price.
Ring-A-Ring-A-Roses - The Black Death (Reynard de Saint-Pierre, 1312-1350AD):
He most certainly did not expect a bunch of filthy rats harboring diseased fleas to be his downfall so short into his 'lifetime' this time around, the plague had swept across Europe swifter than anything he had come across since he began his life those many years ago. This life he inhabited was one of French nobility that afforded himself the safety of hiding from the plague behind high walls and a buffer of a large expanse of rolling green hills, from the initial reports he had gathered it seemed like there was no stopping this thing. Reynard had lived close to 1500 years at this point and no other time had he actually feared the potential that his powers would reach its limits until now, he had enjoyed a long life due to his immortality and yet couldn't shake the feeling that even he would face death.
The small staff he kept on hand had been disposed of late in the deep of the night before he planned to fake his death once more, this time he would need to escape from the rest of the world for a longer time to allow the disease to run its course. Over a century ago, he had constructed a fortress like building in the Älvdalen Municipality of Dalarna County, Sweden and continued to staff it to this very day...the money coming from an unknown source. Reynard waited till night had fallen and the blaze to take hold and escape his former life, slowly and carefully he made his way further north to his refuge where he would live out the better course of 500 years in seclusion. Each time he would get rid of the old staff for a newer one that had no knowledge of him, it was in this forced seclusion that gave way to the start of his master plan. Never had he realized that the future lay within his hands and those like himself, that the human race had evolved unkown to the masses in the form of power users and that somehow...someway he would take it for himself.
Finest Hour - WWII (Liam A. MacArthur IV, 1921-1952AD):
Liam had at this point lived longer than he could remember and to the best of his knowledge had never been apart of something so horrible, yet at the same time advantageous to his research. Long ago when his first life was new, he had dropped all pretenses of morality or what was right for the furtherment of his own ideaology and now as he stood in Dr. Wirths' office there was no hesitation. He had seen the Nazis with their medical experiments for what they were and embraced them wholey, the high command in Germany had greenlighted his research into the human genome under the assumption he was after the development of the Übermensch for their war. Oh how they were wrong to allow him free roam of the facility of Auschwitz and even more so to not monitor him, it wouldn't be until near the end of the war that they realized their folly.
Now as the sound of gunfire drew closer to their position, Liam rushed out with all his research files to the waiting Jeep that would carry him to a designated point in the surrounding woods where he would escape on motorcycle. He had finally discovered the secret to the development of powers in certain individuals and now with the chance to flee from the Nazis and the Allies, he would forge his own destiny and force the evolution of man. Liam gunned the bike harder, leaving the battle waging far behind him and headed to Gdansk where a ship would take him to Sweden. The long trip to freedom gave him ample opportunity to go over his next course of action that would cement his place in the world, the aftermath of this war would open up new chances for him to take advantage of. Using his amassed fortune and connections within the Allied powers, he would create MacArthur Enterprises which would be intrumental in rebuilding Europe...for a price. Already there was construction in the United States for a base of operations in that land and soon he would control all advancements in pharmaceuticals and at a later time genetic research. This day was the dawn of a new Paradise, and for that he would need a successor.
Dawn Goes Down To Day - Present (Liam A. MacArthur V, 1934-Present):
The figure stood looking out at the great expanse of the Mojave Desert before him and surrounding the tall building nestled against the imposing San Bernadino Mountains, his plans that he had started over two millenia ago were now coming to a head and the grin on his face the only indication of emotion inside his blackened heart. Liam Alexander MacArthur V had within his lifetime found the secret to evolution and bent it under his will, already there were projects under cryogenic stasis only waiting for his command to be 'introduced' to the world. He had at this point mastered all of his powers, including the Necromancy in which he exploited religiously and could be seen first hand deep beneath the company's facility in Montana. There...there he housed an army of dead that were merely pawns in his grand scheme and like their Übermensch counterparts waited in suspended animation, it was all this and more that allowed that grin.
Liam tore his gaze away from the desert landscape and shifted it to the pocketwatch in hand, the old Waltham he had bought in 1903 snapped open revealing a picture of his greatest treasure...his grandson. By no means an accident, but a miracle in natural evolution that had gotten a swift kick in its ass to produce Joshua and a power that knew no rival in its own class. He had treated the boy as nothing more than a pawn for his plans and in truth that is all his grandson was to him, yet he couldn't help but wonder just what the boy would do...if he'd betray his family. And so the ancient man continued his vigil from the top floor of the tower and waited for the dawn...
