The soft taps of feet on the concert side walk, the roads were crowded and the people were in a rush as always, "Insects...." the man spoke to himself, "How can anyone tolerate living near with some many weakling around." he said as he tucked his hands into his pockets. He slowly began walking down the road turning into an alley way, "Did you find where we are looking for?"
A tattooed man was already standing in the alley as the other entered, his hair was long and spiked, bells hanging from the ends. His arms were tattooed form top to bottom, ended at his sleeveless shirt, which appeared to have not started that way. He wore baggy clothing, his appearance was messy at best. His black eyes narrowed at the man, the eyeliner seemed to blot some in the corner of his eyes, "Ya, it took two teachers and a principle but I got the address, he said holding out a sheet of paper, droplets of blood across it.
"Alright, lets pay my brothers family a visit." The other man smiled as he began walking our of the alley address in hand. As they two walked away a woman's arm dropped from the fire escape to the ground. The tattooed man laugh a little as they walked.
As they walked they saw police cars heading in the direction in which they came, the man who seemed in charged turned to the other, "You left no witnesses correct?" he asked, then turning back to the road.
"Zane, you know me better than that, I have been killing for how long now, I can't stand to see a women not covered in her own blood." he smiled licking his lips.
"I also know your a moron." Zane said, "You can have your fun with James parents next AMP." he smiled, "I'll kill everything you love and hold dear brother, then you will have to lose your heroic ways."[/i]

Lucky for the Boushi’s they were currently out of the house. Unfortunately for Eli, she was there and currently unaware of the two unsavory characters making their way toward the house.
Eli sat in the living room of the Boushi residence, flipping through channels on the TV. Today was her day off for work and she was prepared to spend it doing nothing productive. The only thing she had really done today was shower, and that wasn’t exactly a huge achievement. Regardless there she sat, wearing a baggy sweatshirt and shorts.
Sighing she got up from the couch and grabbed the newspaper, looking for any ads for an apartment for rent. She had found a few that interested her, but what was wrong with a little variety? Besides at this point it had become clear to her the Boushi’s weren’t exactly in a rush to get rid of her. It still didn’t stop the fact that she felt a bit bad for staying there, but at least she was welcome.
Stopping her reading for a moment she looked to the door. Was Lantos coming over today? Mmmm…..she couldn’t remember. Oh whatever, by now she felt comfortable enough with him not to freak out every time they were together.

Lantos pulled into the driveway, not paying any attention to anyone else around the street. Not that he ever did. He wasn't worried. Nothing bad ever seemed to happen around here. Lantos just figured the town was lucky, that was all.
He walked up to the door, and went to open it. Of course, it was locked. Eli wouldn't just leave the door open like Kuro would. Lantos shrugged, and pulled out his key chain. Sifting through, he found one to his old home in D.C. He wouldn't ever need that again. He slipped it into the lock, and allowed it to reform as he pushed it in. He twisted the key, and with a soft click, the door was unlocked.
Lantos put the keys back in his pocket, and opened the door, locking it as he closed it. He walked in and saw Eli looking over at the door, newspaper in hand. "You know, doors aren't going to keep those of us with gifts out!" Lantos grinned looking at the girl. His stomach dropped a little, and he felt compelled to begin his mindless babbling. Something about her made Lantos act odd. He resisted the urge to let the oddities control him though. He didn't want to come off as stupid to her. Anyone else, he didn't care, but what Eli thought was extremely important to him.
He smiled again, and walked over towards her. What'cha reading?" he asked, peering over her shoulder to see the paper. He noted the classifieds heading on the top of the page, and chuckled a little bit. "The Boushi's over whelming warmness getting to you?" [/blockquote]

As the two men approached the home, there was a silence between them, one seemed anxious, while the other determined. Their footsteps drawing them closer to the home, it was just down the block now. Dust stirred across the ground as the breeze from an incoming storm pushed through. "I hate getting wet...." AMP said looking to the darkening sky.
As the drops from the rain slowly began hitting the tin roofs of the homes on the street, the news kicked on the TV. "Two local teachers and the principle of a local high school were found in a back alley horrible murdered only mere moments ago." the reporter said, "There was one witness," A women, horrible torn up came on the screen. Her face was horrible beaten in and both her arms were in slings, "He was a monster, he laughed as he tortured those people, then when he saw me he smiled. She began to cry unable to keep herself together, "What he did to these women is a horrible act, if you have any information please call your local authority." The reported said coming back on. As she went off it went to a sketch based on the woman's description, "This is the man, to the best of descriptions, he called himself AMP and is considered very dangerous."
As the report ended the Tv switched back to its regular program, by this time the two men had made it in front of the house, "AMP, shall we ring the bell?" Zane said looking to his companion. He tucked his hands in the pockets of the coat he was wearing the rain began to pick up turning into a horrible storm.
Lighting crashed, revealing a smile across the other man's face, a wicked smile, a twisted grin. "Shale we!" He said lifting his hand to the door, blasting it into the house, shards of wood flying everywhere.

When the lock clicked she stared at the door in confusion. Neither of Kuro's parents were supposed to be home yet, and they were the only other people that had a key to the house. When Lantos walked in she smiled. So she had been right, he was coming today. "Hello," she said watching him as he walked over. Looking down at the paper she shrugged, almost forgetting she had it. "Well no...not exactly. I feel bad for staying here though. I feel like all I'm doing is mooching off of them, and I hardly even know Kuro. Besides, I have enough saved up for my own place, why not get one?" Eli looked to him and smiled. "Maybe if I have my own place you actually feel compelled to knock on the door instead of walking right in too." Just after saying that the program that was on the tv switched to a news report. She grimaced at the report on the murders, and her frown deepened when the woman came one. When it ended she bit her lip and looked to Lantos. "That's not good....did you lock the door when you came in?" Obviously the lock didn't matter though because as soon as she asked that the door came flying into the house in pieces. Eli gasped and grabbed for Lantos, managing to use her powers on both of them so the shards wouldn't harm them. In truth she was surprised, Eli was getting a better handle on her powers it seemed. Looking to the door she frowned, seeing two men standing there. One of them looked like the sketch they had seen and her stomach began doing nervous twists and turns.

Lantos smiled, chuckling at Eli. I may. But then you have to get up and walk to the door. I don't want to disturb you. It's more fun to spontaneously hug you from behind or something without you noticing!" Lantos sank down to the couch, watching the news report.
The event seemed awful. Who would have the nerve to kill someone like that? Lantos couldn't understand it. For someone to just take someone else's life without having any qualms with it. To laugh as he is killing someone else. Lantos found it appalling.. He looked up as Eli spoke. "Yeah, I lock..."
Suddenly, there was a loud burst from the door. Eli was grabbing Lantos in an instant, and an odd feeling was spreading over him. He felt cold and hollow. His sense of touch seemed to disappear. The only thing he felt was Eli's hands upon him. The pieces of the door were suddenly flying at him, but didn't hit him. Instead, the flew right through him.
Lantos looked up at the door, and noticed two men. Unlike Eli, he didn't make the connection to the man on the TV. He wasn't thinking about who they were. He just wanted to know why they had just knocked down the door. "What the hell was that for? What do you want?" Lantos shouted angrily up at the two men. [/blockquote]

AMP pushed through what was left of the door he smiled seeing the two inside, "New Friends" he said looking at them, he smiled some licking his lips. He looked back to Zane who had yet to enter the home, he stepped to the side of the door looking for an order.
As Zane entered he ducked through some of the hanging scraps, pushing the hood back from his jacket as he entered, "Now I know you are not Mr. and Mrs. Boushi." he said looking over the two. As he talked he looked around the room, seeing the tv still on and talking about the murders he turned to AMP, "I said no witnesses" he sighed at him.
AMP looked at the TV. "Honestly I thought the bitch was dead, I mean she stopped fighting back and kinda went limp on me so, just put two and two together and got dead." AMP tried to explain, "Its alright with the amount of trauma I causes stupid slut aint lasting a week." He then turned to Eli, "Your a pretty little thing aint ya?" he smiled pushing his hair back.
Zane looked back to Lantos, he seemed more in control of himself unlike the girl, "I am Zander Ferris, I am looking for the Boushis, my brother sent me to find them." Zane was clearly lying, he never even talking to his brother about his adoptive parents. He smiled, "Now where are they?"

Eli swallowed hard as the two stepped inside, trying to figure everything out. When the man who looked like the suspect spoke of the woman Eli grimaced. So he did do it. Then was the other man his boss or something? Partner maybe….she wasn’t sure. Then the suspect looked at her and she frowned. Eli was fairly certain she didn’t want him thinking of her as attractive.
The other man introduced himself as Zander and she listened to him, even though he seemed to be speaking more to Lantos. Hadn’t Kuro mentioned something about a brother…she couldn’t remember.
When he asked about Kuro’s parents she answered for Lantos. “They’re out…I’m not sure where they are.”
She was leaning just a bit on Lantos, her hand still holding his arm, though she had stopped using her powers a while ago. Whether it was for protection or to protect him she wasn’t sure, but she felt better closer to Lantos, and that was good enough for her.

Lantos watched the two men closely, pushing Eli a little further behind him at the larger man's comment. He wasn't going to let anything happen to her. That didn't seem what the leader cared about though. The man introduced as Zane seemed to be in charge, and didn't seem to be looking for Lantos and Eli.
Lantos opened his mouth to answer Zane's question, but was cut off by Eli. Lantos gritted his teeth together. He wished Eli hadn't of said anything. He'd rather tell these men that the Boushi's no longer lived here. He could still play it off though. There was no way he would be telling Zane where they were. Kuro didn't have a brother. At least, if he did, he never told Lantos about it. And if he didn't do that, Lantos was sure it was for a good reason.
"The Boushi's went on a cross-country road trip. Took some time off. They needed a get away, you know? We don't know where they are or when they'll be back. We're just watching the house." Lantos was convicted to his answer. He seemed to be very honest about it, and continued, "Can I take a message. I'll give them a heads up when they check in. Didn't take any cell phones either, but they call from pay phones now and again."
Lantos gazed at the two men, felling Eli very close to him. He moved his hand towards hers, and grabbed it tightly, hoping she would feel safer. He wasn't sure if the two men would believe his words. He just had to hope for the best. If not, he'd have a fight on his hands. [/blockquote]
