[/u]The bar was deserted. Only two or three people sat at the long counter. What did you expect in such a religious area, especially on a Sunday. It was customary to spend the day with your family, not out drinking your pains away, though surely that is what these people were doing-- except one.
A younger looking boy entered the bar, and sat down. It was state law that anyone under 21 could not sit at the bar. The young woman managing the bar walked over to him. "Hey hon, gonna have to see some ID if you wanna order something."
The young boy had long brown hair that covered half his almost perfect face. His skin the perfect tone, his eyes a deep black, but somehow very tranquil to look at. He smiled at the girl, his teeth white, and his smile perfect.
"Oh, I don't want anything to drink." His voice, very suave and strong sounding. The waitress smiled, and pulled he finger up to her hair, twisting it around her finger.
"Well, I can't let you sit here unless you are 21. Are you?" she asked, but the boy picked up on her movements, and responded quickly to the girl.
"Of course, I am." A Lie. "I was passing by and saw you, and I couldn't resist coming in to talk to you." A Lie. "I didn't come for anything more." A lie.
The young waitress smiled, and the boy smiled back, saying in a voice that seemed to make the girl in front of him melt away. "My name is Levi, and you are?"
The girl stuttered, "M... m... I.... Angela."
Levi smiled, and motioned to the other end of the bar. "Joe wants a drink." At that very moment, the man at the end of the bar called out for another drink. Levi just smiled, not taking his eyes from Angela.
"Oh. Umm. I will be right back." Angela rushed to the other end of the bar.
With the distraction, Levi quickly slipped around the bar, and opened the register, taking a stack of twenties, and slipped back around the bar. While it was still noticeable if someone had been watching, it was done much quicker then if any other human tried.
Levi, smiled looking down at the wad of money, and walked out the front doors, not turning to look back at the Angela girl again. [/center]
